The kettle is hung from a hirukugi (leech nail) on the ceiling and is hung from the end of a chain. A long, thin kettle is used for tsurigama. This year, we have chosen a tsurukubigama (kettle with a crane&#8217;s neck). The top of the kettle is long and thin like the neck of a crane, which somehow gives the kettle a spring-like gentleness.
